Dorothea

Dorothea is one of our most experienced instructors with over 10 years of teaching under her activewear. Pilates, yoga and dance are her specialities so if it's moving with freedom and intention you're after, Dorothea is your go to. Dorothea knows the benefits of corporate yoga classes first hand, having worked in the highly demanding and often challenging world of television in a previous life. Twice-weekly lunchtime yoga classes gave Dorothea a welcome respite from the energetic pace and provided clarity and focus for the rest of the workday. Rowena

Rowena has written for stage, radio, media, and corporate communications. She holds a Master of Creative Writing alongside her teaching qualifications. She is currently editing her novel manuscript which was longlisted in the 2019 Stockholm Writers' Festival First Five Pages international literary award. Rowena is a Communications Manager for an Arts not-for-profit and is a freelance copywriter and editor. She is passionate about helping others harness the power of writing to unlock their creative expression and unblock mental and emotional challenges through increased self-awareness, brain function, communication skills, and by channelling lived experiences to create art.

I started teaching Pilates because I believe exercise and movement is so important to health and wellbeing. I wholeheartedly believe in the benefits of Pilates after experiencing how customisable and easily tailored the exercises are. Through my own battles with injury and weakness, Pilates has given me a freedom of movement and understanding that is very different from other forms of exercise. My diverse career as a dancer, yoga teacher and aerialist influences my teaching. As a member of the Australian Pilates Method Association I have a deep understanding and commitment to the pilates method. Combining scientific knowledge through continuous study with the Pilates method helps me achieve the best outcomes for my clients. My tailored approach ensures a safe, enjoyable and challenging workout to meet your goals and get you results.
